Therefore here I present before you a very popular recipe of the Bengali households- "Poach Curry", prepared to relieve all from the daily toil of excavating some distinct cuisine at the dinner table to please your taste buds. Poach Curry...
Ingredients-
4 - Eggs
4 tbsp - Onion paste
1 tsp - Ginger-Garlic paste
1/2 cup - Tomato pulp
1 - Onion, chopped
1 tsp - Turmeric powder
1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
1 tsp - Coriander powder
1 tsp - Cumin powder
1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
1 tsp - Black Pepper powder
Mustard Oil
Salt and Sugar to taste
1 - dry Red Chilli
2-3  - Green Chilli
1 tsp - Cumin seeds
2 - Cardamoms
3 - Cloves
1 inch - Cinnamon
2-3 - Bay Leaf
Method-
Heat oil in a kadai, add the chillies, cumin, cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves, and chopped onion. Fry till done. Add onion paste, ginger-garlic paste and tomato pulp and fry till dry. Add all the masala powders. Mix well. Add 2 cups of water, salt and sugar to taste. Cook till the gravy is thick. Crack open the eggs and drop them in boiling gravy. Boil till yolk is set. Serve with hot rice.
